When LJ was being sold to Six Apart, Brad Fitzpatrick promised that nothing would change, aside from service improvements. And now Fitzpatrick is at Google (rumor has it, doing OpenSocial), and LJ got resold, just as the skeptics promised. What they couldn't have foreseen is that the new owner would be Russian.
